Recently, Kenny Omega made an appearance on Twitch with CEOGaming, where he gave an update regarding his absence and what lies for him in the future.

Kenny Omega has been dominating professional wrestling over the past decade, finishing top of the PWI Insider Top 500 twice, most recently in 2021.

He has won numerous championships and awards across multiple companies, including; AEW World Championship, IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, IWGP United States Championship, the G1 Climax and more.

Kenny Omega was one of the pillars, who made AEW a reality and has had some of the best matches in the company during his AEW World Tag Team Championship reign as well as his unforgettable AEW World Championship reign.

Omega has been out of action since Full Gear 2021, where he lost the AEW World Championship to former tag team partner and friend Hangman Adam Page and hasn't had an in-ring match since.

The best bout machine has been out of in-ring action with reported multiple injuries, that includes vertigo that he may have been dealing with since 2018 after a botched landing from a dropkick that he suffered from Kazuchika Okada.

However, he has been teased in recent months with Don Callis appearing on the Buy-In of AEW Revolution and receiving his award at the 2021 AEW awards, where he won wrestler of the year.

Omega revealed on the CEOGaming Twitch channel that he has been struggling with his rehabilitation stating:

"If I have another major setback... I'm done I can't ever do this again."

Kenny went on to express how he has to endure "really painful rehab two to three times a day" due to the extent of his injuries.

Omega is currently AEW's longest-reigning AEW World Champion, holding the title for 346 days. However, he has yet to cash in his rematch clause, which can set up a dream feud with current Champion CM Punk or re-ignite the feud with Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. The unification of the AEW World Championship will occur once CM Punk has recovered from his surgery.

Hopefully, we will see Kenny Omega return to AEW television at some point in 2022.

You can watch AEW internationally on FITE TV.
