Jamie Chadwick won her first British Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon after a flawless drive, extending her win streak to six races.

Despite the threat of rain after the 15 minute mark, the reigning W Series champion was able to avoid the aftermath of a red flag and cruised to victory at Silverstone.

The Jenner Racing star now has 100 points from four races and continues to dominate the drivers' standings.

The champion has avenged her P3 finish at Silverstone last year and has added another iconic win to her portfolio. She remains the only winner of W Series 2022, having dominated at the double-header in Miami and in round two at Barcelona.

Chadwick was joined on the podium by Emma Kimilainen in second, who defied the odds after a stunning comeback following a spin in the final lap of the race. Fellow Brit Abbi Pulling took the final podium spot.

Chadwick started on pole position after a perfect qualifying session, with Kimilainen joining her on the front row of the grid.

Alice Powell and Pulling started in P3 and P4 respectively. While Pulling was able to fight her way onto the podium, her mentor Powell, who won last year's British Grand Prix was dealt heartbreak.

The Bristol Street Motors driver was issued a 10-second stop-go penalty, which forced her to the back of the pack and she finished the race in 14th place.

Gold rush for Chadwick

Chadwick's perfect 2022 season continues after finally adding the Silverstone trophy to her cabinet.

Her British Grand Prix victory marks her sixth consecutive win and tenth overall since making her W Series debut in 2019.

Last season, she triumphed in Austria and Hungary before rounding off the campaign with back-to-back wins at the Circuit of the Americas to clinch her second title.

Up until the final two races of the season, she was tied with Powell on points — something that had never been seen before in W Series.

This year however, no driver can get near the blistering Brit.

Chadwick will look to continue her unbeaten run of form in Le Castellet on July 23rd.
