Money in the Bank 2022 delivered the most successful night of Liv Morgan's WWE career to date.

She started by fending off the competition in the women's ladder match to get her hands on the life-changing briefcase. And change her life it did.

Later on the pay-per-view, Morgan cashed in her title opportunity contract to take on Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Rowdy was up against Natalya in a title defence match and seemed to be carrying an injury as she was noticeably limping both before and after the bout.

Despite a problem with her leg, she was able to retain her belt, but only for a few moments.

Morgan's music dropped and she came sprinting into the ring with her briefcase in hand.

An injury and exhausted-looking Rousey did her best to battle Morgan but a roll-up finish saw a new champion crowned.

Morgan could hardly believe it and the crowd popped as she lifted her very first WWE Championship.

Support from WWE Superstars

Morgan is a popular figure within WWE and the outpouring of support following her title victory shows just how loved she is.

The likes of Sonya Deville, Queen Zelina, and Bayley have posted messages of support to their fellow Superstar.

Bayley, who has been absent from WWE since July 2021, predicted Morgan to come out on top at Money in the Bank. As you can imagine, she was thrilled to discover her prediction came true.

"I get what I want," The Role Model tweeted, along with a follow up post stating "I am the happiest I've been all year."

WWE Hall of Famer Lita also posted a congratulatory message.

"Hell yeah, Livvy! Get it!" she wrote.

Asuka was another blown away by Morgan's night of the dreams.

The Empress of Tomorrow took part in the women's ladder match but was unable to capitalise on her opportunity to claim the briefcase. Despite losing out to Morgan, she has made it clear she is impressed with how the night turned out.

After the event, Morgan posed for a champions' photo with Bianca Belair, looking beyond elated to be holding her first Championship.

The EST of WWE, holding her Raw women's title high alongside her fellow winner, posted the image along with the caption: "As @YaOnlyLivvOnce would say "I LOVE THIS FOR US."

Morgan will reign as SmackDown women's champion for the first time in her career but reports claim a clash between her and Rousey is still on for SummerSlam.
