Liv Morgan beat Ronda Rousey to become the SmackDown Women's Champion at WWE Money in the Bank last night.

In the opening match at Money in the Bank, Liv Morgan beat Asuka, Becky Lynch, Shotzi, Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez and Alexa Bliss to become Miss. Money in the Bank.

After less than two hours in possession of the briefcase, Liv cashed in her title opportunity following Ronda Rousey's win over Natalya.

With Ronda tweaking her knee during his first title match, Morgan saw the opportunity and was able to roll up the former UFC star to score the victory.

Liv's big win marks the beginning of her reign as SmackDown Women's Champion, the first time she's held any kind of title in WWE.

After the match, Ronda and Liv embraced in the middle of the ring, with Rousey leaving her opponent to soak up the cheers from the fans in Las Vegas.

And now, speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport backstage during last night's show, Liv has revealed exactly what Rousey said to her during their exchange.

Morgan said that Ronda told her that she deserved her title win, which is a sentiment that many fans agree with based on social media posts after the show.

She said, ‘You deserve it.

Unsurprisingly, Morgan went on to say during the interview the title win was the biggest and best moment of her entire life:

I've literally I've worked my whole entire life for this, Ariel. It doesn't feel real to have it in my hands. Even though I'm holding it even though I see it, I feel it, I can't believe it's mine. You have to kill me to get this out of my hands… This is the greatest moment of my life so far.

The former NXT star then thanked the fans for their support, with Liv having one of the most loyal and dedicated fanbases out of anyone on the WWE roster, either male or female.

I genuinely love you guys so much. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you guys. Without your voices, I wouldn't be here. So, I genuinely did this for us.

Reports have already revealed that Morgan is going to be doing at SummerSlam, and you can find out exactly what WWE has planned for the big show on July 30 in Nashville by clicking here.
