Rumours have suggested that Ronda Rousey hand-picked Liv Morgan as the person she wanted to drop the SmackDown Women's Championship to at WWE Money in the Bank.Liv Morgan won the Money in the Bank briefcase during the opening match on last night's show, much to the delight of the crowd. But not many fans would have seen what happened next coming, as Morgan held onto her briefcase for less than two hours before cashing in on Ronda Rousey.Rousey had just retained her title over Natalya, but after tweaking her knee in the match, Morgan capitalised, cashed in her briefcase, and rolled Rousey up to become champion. The match marked Morgan's first reign as SmackDown Women's Champion, and her first reign with any sort of gold in WWE.

The decision to have Morgan win was met very well by fans, with those chatting about the show on social media clearly happy that they're getting something new at the top of WWE.

However, it seems like not only was Rousey fully onboard the decision too, but rumours have even suggested that it was her idea in the first place.

Ronda's personal photographer took to Instagram during the show, as can be seen below, to speak about Morgan's title win.

They say that Ronda never asked to be champion in WWE, and didn't even want to be champion when the opportunity was presented to her.

The post goes on to claim that Rousey demanded that the "most passionate" wrestler in WWE be given the title, suggesting that that's why Liv won the title.

Of course, this is just one person's point of view, and it hasn't been widely reported that Rousey hand-picked Morgan to win.

However, it's interesting to note that Ronda seemingly didn't want to be champion, and it would explain her positive reaction after losing the title.

After the match, Ronda and Liv embraced in the ring, and Morgan has since revealed the touching words the former UFC star said to her, which you can read more about by clicking here.
