Tottenham duo Harry Winks and Steven Bergwijn could have their futures resolved "in the coming days", according to Fabrizio Romano.

The £123,000 per-week pair are likely to leave the north London outfit before September's transfer deadline and the guru expects developments this week.

What's the latest news involving Winks and Bergwijn?

Having fallen down the pecking order and then seen Yves Bissouma and Richarlison arrive in their respective positions, they're both surplus to requirements under Antonio Conte.

According to Spurs reporter Alasdair Gold, Winks remains locked in talks with Everton, although Leeds have now joined the race for the midfielder, who's valued at £20m by Daniel Levy, while other Premier League clubs are interested in the England ace.

Bergwijn, who's also valued at £20m, was also linked with a move to Goodison Park, although that was reported as part of a deal with Richarlison, which is unlikely to happen given the Brazil international has already signed for Tottenham.

Therefore, Bergwijn is still on course to return to the Netherlands and sign for Ajax, once the Dutch champions meet Spurs' asking price for the winger.

And Romano reckons that developments on both players will start to firm up later this week.

What did Romano say about Winks and Bergwijn?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "They're very relaxed, they feel like they've signed important players in many positions and now they can keep an eye on the opportunities, but it will depend on the outgoings.

"They have many outgoings to complete, like Bergwijn and Winks in the coming days."

Who else could Tottenham sell?

With four incomings already secured and more expected to follow, Spurs need to move on some of their squad players.

On top of Winks and Bergwijn, Gold believes that Joe Rodon, who's been linked with a loan move to Nottingham Forest, and Japhet Tanganga, could also leave the club in search of more regular football.

Emerson Royal has been linked with a return to Spain, although Tottenham rejected Atletico Madrid's loan proposal last week, despite Djed Spence's imminent arrival set to make him one of three right wing-backs at the club.

Sergio Reguilon could also return to La Liga after falling behind Ryan Sessegnon in the club's left wing-back list, while Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso are also set to be axed after spending the second half of last season out on loan.
