Arsenal have officially announced the signing of Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian forward has joined the Gunners in a £45m move from Manchester City. He has been handed the number 9 shirt.
“I’m so happy to sign for this big club," Jesus told Arsenal's website. "Since day one when I knew I could come to play for Arsenal, I was happy.
"I know the staff, I know some players, the Brazilian ones. I know there are a lot of top players. They are young and I’m still young as well, so I am so happy to be here to help. I come to help, to learn as well and to try to do my best.”
Mikel Arteta told the club's website: “I’m very excited. The club has done a tremendous job to recruit a player of this stature. I know Gabriel personally very well, and we all know him well from his time in the Premier League and being really successful here.
"This is a position that’s been on our radar for a long time now and we have managed to get a player that we all wanted, so I’m really happy.”

Jesus, who scored 95 times for Manchester City in six seasons, is now Arsenal's second highest-paid player.
Partey is the only player who earns more than him.
Pepe is Arsenal's third best-paid player, followed by White, Bellerin and Tierney.
Nkeitah recently signed a massive deal to extend his stay at the club and is one of nine Arsenal players who earn £100,000-per-week or more.
Odegaard is one of Arsenal's best players but earns 'just' £79,000-per-week, making him the 12th highest-paid player at the club.
While only two players in Arsenal's first-team squad earn less than Saka: Tavares and new signing Vieira.
It was reported earlier this year by The Sun, though, that the Gunners are willing to quadruple Saka's wages and hand him a £125,000-per-week deal.
The youngster has just two years left on his current deal and could sign an extension soon.
