On Saturday night, Liv Morgan changed her entire WWE career after cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Ronda Rousey.

Wasting no time after her ladder match victory, Morgan successfully dethroned The Baddest Woman on the Planet as the SmackDown Women's Champion.

After securing her first ever title win, Morgan shared a heartwarming moment with Rousey, who honourably handed over the belt.

The two embraced in the middle of the ring and the UFC legend told Morgan that she deserved to win the title.

Rousey then extended her sentiment to social media — posting on Instagram about the wild events that happened on Money in the Bank.

Rowdy successfully defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Natalya, only to be overthrown by Liv just moments later.

The former champion had been visibly struggling with a knee problem and couldn't make it two for two on the pay-per-view stage to keep her title.

Ronda and Natalya were involved in a war of words in the lead up to Money in the Bank and even when congratulating Morgan on her win, Rousey couldn't help but drop in a dig towards her rival.

"@YaOnlyLivvOnce you deserve it," she wrote in the caption of a photo of the two wrestlers hugging. "@Natbynature you're still a b**ch."

Former WWE star No Way Jose commented on the deadpan post with clapping and laughing emojis. Natalya herself also responded, showing this feud may still have some embers flickering in it yet.

"Bless your heart," she wrote.

An exciting new chapter for Liv Morgan

Prior to her milestone evening at Money in the Bank 2022, Morgan had attempted to dethrone Becky Lynch as the Raw Women's Champion. However, this feud came during a time when Big Time Becks simply couldn't stop winning.

Liv was unsuccessful in her attempts to defeat Lynch and even during her time as tag team partner to Rhea Ripley, she was unable to get her hands on a title.

Now, everything has changed for Morgan. For the first time in her career, she is a WWE champion and the company already has some exciting storylines coming up for her, including plans for SummerSlam next month.
