Kalvin Phillips has become Manchester Cityâs latest star signing ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.City have signed the 26-year-old midfielder from Leeds United in a deal worth between £45 million and £50 million, according to Sky Sports.Phillips, who has been capped 23 times by England, told his new employersâ official website: âCity have again proved to the best team in the country with an amazing squad and a manager in Pep Guardiola who is rightly considered to be the finest in the world.â
How much money will Phillips earn at Man City?
Unsurprisingly, Phillips has bagged himself a huge pay rise after joining City, with his wages increasing to a cool £150,000 a week, according to Goal.
Only seven City players are on more money than Phillips, including star summer signing Erling Haaland.
