Tyson Fury retired from the ring in April after defeating Dillian Whyte in their heavyweight world title fight at Wembley Stadium, although popular belief is he isn’t finished in the ring yet.

He’s currently on a UK tour as a part of ‘Fury Fest – The Official After Party Tour’ where he talks about his experiences in the ring and shares his thoughts with the audience.

Whilst in Liverpool, he nipped into the Queen’s pub in Aintree to use the bathroom. Then, in typical Fury fashion, he remerged topless and walked up to the bar and ordered a half pint of beer.

As you can imagine, his surprise appearance got people excited, with pictures being shared on social media of the Gypsy King.

Fury was pictured topless, chatting to fans in the pub just like he was down his local with his mates, he really does live like a normal person and not a sporting superstar.

The Liverpool Echo spoke to Toni, a bartender at the pub who said: “Nobody noticed him at first as he just walked through the bar we were not that busy then I popped my head up and saw Tyson Fury. I said to one of my colleges ‘is that Tyson Fury’ and his manager said, ‘yeah it's him.’

“He then came out of the bathroom and started taking photographs with everyone he was only in there for five minutes. He had a suit on originally but I think he took his top off because everyone had already noticed him.

“The phone was going off in work asking if he was still there, people started turning up. One woman even asked if he was still around as his son is such a big fan but he had already left.

It sums up the draw Fury has and why this UK tour is a great idea to give fans the chance to listen to the man himself talk about his life and career.

The fact he made time for everyone and had a drink is testament to him as a person, always giving his fans time and not acting like he’s too big to spend a couple of minutes in a local pub despite likely being on a busy schedule.
