The 25-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium and has been linked with a move away from the Foxes this summer.
What is the latest news involving Tielemans?
According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, Newcastle United could make a swoop for Tielemans this transfer window.
At one point, it had looked like the Belgian would end up at Arsenal before the start of the 2022/23 season, with The Telegraph reporting back in May that Mikel Arteta was pushing for the north London club to make a bid for the player.
However, reports now suggest that the Gunners’ interest in Tielemans has cooled.
It leaves the likes of Newcastle and West Ham with a great chance to land the midfielder, who cost his current club £40m when he arrived from AS Monaco permanently back in 2019.

What has Jones said about Tielemans and West Ham?
Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Tielemans is a player who West Ham have considered.
Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “West Ham have also been looking at Tielemans. West Ham, Tottenham, Arsenal, they’ve been looking at a lot of similar players of this kind, and Tielemans is probably the most high profile one that’s left for all of them at the moment in terms of that midfield role.”
Could West Ham lure Tielemans to the London Stadium?
West Ham’s progress under David Moyes over the last couple of years has been phenomenal.
They, of course, managed to reach the Europa League semi-finals last season after coming sixth in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign – two excellent feats.
However, you get the impression that Tielemans wants to join a club who can do even better than that. Europe’s second tier competition and the Europa Conference League are tournaments he has already played in at Leicester, so a move to the Hammers would arguably be a sideways step.
Arsenal are obviously not in the Champions League either, but a club of their stature is always going to be an attraction to players.
As for Leicester, Brendan Rodgers will be hoping it is still possible to get Tielemans to sign a new contract, with the Foxes boss describing the Belgium international’s football as “sensational” last year.
“As he has adapted to the Premier League and the speed of the game, you just see his football. It is sensational,” the 49-year-old told Sky Sports.
It is not hard to see why West Ham would want Tielemans, but they may have some convincing to do if he is to end up at the London Stadium this summer.
