Love Island star AJ Bunker is set to step in on just ten days' notice to fight OnlyFans model Elle Brooke after Astrid Wett pulled out of the fight over fears for her safety.
Brooke and Wett, aged 24 and 21 respectively, were originally supposed to fight each other in a celebrity boxing match at the Indigo in London's O2 Arena.
The pair were due to co-headline on July 16 with TikTok rivals Simple Simon, 51, and Ed Matthews, 19, main-eventing.
However, a month before the scheduled bout Wett made a public video slamming the organisation of the event and pulled out of fighting Brooke.
But now the organisers have officially announced that Bunker has jumped in as a late replacement for Wett.
A statement from Kingpyn Boxing read: "The time has finally come.
"We've received hundreds of request to make this fight happen, so here it is.
"Elle Brooke vs AJ Bunker.
Simple Simon and Ed Matthews are set to face off in a huge grudge match this summer on July 16
"These two will clash in the ring on July 16 and battle it out in front of thousands of fans."
Bunker, 29, is perhaps best known for her brief appearance on Love Island.
Appearing on last year's show, the former hair stylist was dumped from the villa just a few days after she first appeared on the reality TV series.
Bunker was also due to appear at Celeb MMA at Wembley Arena on June but those plans were soon shelved after it was subsequently postponed for reasons that currently remain unclear at the time of writing.
Meanwhile Brooke has been preparing for her boxing debut in Essex under the guidance of well-renowned coach Mark Tibbs.
Speaking exclusively to GiveMeSport.com, she said: “You can say I’m disrespecting the sport but I’m literally training with Mark Tibbs who is a professional boxing trainer and I’m training with the likes of f***ing IBF bantamweight world champion Ebanie Bridges.
“Do you not think I’m going to be a bozzer [sic] unit?
“I’ve got a big platform and I can be like inspirational for other girls you know.
“There’s not many girls in the sport compared to men, it’s very male-dominated.
“Hopefully people can look up to me and you know think maybe I could take up boxing because if anything you know it’s self-defence for women and everything like that so definitely like pioneer the sport.”
