Alex Pereira's son hilariously trolled Israel Adesanya - by pretending to be knocked out.

Before he became the UFC middleweight champion, Adesanya made a name for himself in the world of kickboxing.

Adesanya, better known as The Last Stylebender, is considered by many as one of the greatest MMA fighters that has ever lived.

But when he ran into the Brazilian, he seemed to have met his match.

The story itself is well documented. Back then, both men were then already highly-accomplished kickboxers. In fact, they had already met once before previously, with Pereira beating Adesanya by unanimous decision on that occasion.

A year later, they met once again, but this time it would be a very different result.

After opening up an early lead on the scorecards, Adesanya couldn't help but start to do a bit of showboating.

But that ultimately proved to be his downfall as Pereira patiently waited for the right moment to strike.

And he calmly and casually knocked him out with a left hook from hell.

There were scary scenes as medics rushed in to help the stricken Adesanya who required oxygen as he struggled to regain consciousness.

But after a short while, he gingerly got back to his feet, before going over to stand next to the referee.

As he did so, a young boy, later identified as one of Pereira's sons, appeared to mock him by falling over right next to him.

Just imagine getting knocked out and your opponent' sons takes the absolute p*ss out of you right in front of you? Incredible s**thousery.

The hilarious prank was caught on camera during the live broadcast but it seems it has never been noticed until now.

Twitter user @TheArtofWar posted the funny clip with the caption: "Alex Pereira’s son mocking Izzy by pretending to be knocked out."

The video has already amassed over 300,000 views, as well as 759 retweets and 11,000 likes, at the time of writing.

Pereira meanwhile has jumped ahead of the likes of Darren Till and Jack Hermansson in the rankings following his victory over Sean Strickland.

He said afterwards: “A lot of people talk, especially fighters, they think they have a chance over me, so it feels good to prove that because at the end of the day it’s what the people want.

“People want to see knockouts. People want to see the style that I fight.

"People want to see whoever is in front of me getting knocked out and that’s what I bring for them.”
