Lewis Hamilton could be considered one of the greatest British sportsmen of all time.

He currently competes for Mercedes, having originally spent six years driving for McLaren, and his list of previous accomplishments speaks for itself.

In his career, he’s won seven World Drivers Championship titles which is a joint-record shared with Michael Schumacher. In terms of records, he also has the most wins and pole positions (each with 103) as well as 185 podium finishes.

One of his most intense rivalries happened in 2021 against Max Verstappen. Each driver went back and forth in their intense battle for the championship, Hamilton looking for the record-breaking win while Verstappen was searching for his first title.

Both men came into the final race on 369.5 points which set up one of the most exciting end to a season ever. It certainly delivered with Verstappen controversially overtaking Hamilton to win in the last moments of the race.

Since then, Hamilton’s performances in Formula 1 have taken a hit and he isn’t performing as he usually would, though, his profile remains intact.

He is widely successful away from the track too. Lewis has been named the Sports Personality of the Year in both 2014 and 2020. He’s incredibly well-known and has expanded knowledge and popularity of the sport worldwide.

So, it’s unsurprising when people want to know more about him as a person. Many people wonder what a race day is like for a driver but we were treated to some footage recently from a different perspective.

Lewis has a beloved dog named ‘Roscoe’ who even has his own Instagram page. Originally posted there, but then reiterated by ESPN F1, the experiences of the canine companion have been seen.

A camera was placed on the dog and F1 followers can’t get enough of the content. It dramatically starts with the mission impossible theme as Roscoe makes his way around.

The camera pans and continues to capture adorable reactions to the dog and how it interacts with everyone Lewis meets during the day. Roscoe freely follows his owner and this provides drivers, workers and fans alike with immense joy.
