WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has suggested that Theory should be the man who dethrones Roman Reigns as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

It was an eventful night at Saturday’s Money in the Bank for Theory. WWE’s Upstart began proceedings by losing his United States Championship to Bobby Lashley, but it wasn’t the end of the evening for the 24-year-old.

Later that same night, Theory was introduced as the surprise eighth entrant into the men’s Money in the Bank match and he went on to climb ladder and get his hands on the briefcase to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank.

Theory now has a guaranteed world title shot on his hands, and one former WWE star isn’t against him not only cashing-in on Roman Reigns but beating the Tribal Chief for the belt.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame Show, former world champion Booker T commented on the prospect of Theory’s cash-in and how it’s just a matter of how the story is told.

It’s not losing, but it’s how you lose. He could beat Roman, he could beat anybody on the card if the situation is right. If a person is unconscious when I cash in, who loses? If you book it properly, Theory is not going to be one of the guys that [sic] got the briefcase and didn’t cash it in and win it. I don’t see that happening. This kid has got way too much upside for something like that to happen. That’s just me and what I would be thinking if I had Theory in this position.

On this week’s Raw, Theory hinted that he is considering cashing-in his shot at this month’s SummerSlam. Suggesting that he’ll take advantage of the last man standing stipulation to the match that sees Reigns defend his titles against Brock Lesnar.

On the same card it was announced on Raw that Theory will challenge Lashley in Nashville in a rematch from Money in the Bank, as he tries to recapture his United States crown.
