Leeds United landing Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer would be a "massive coup", claims journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The Whites are one of the latest clubs to be linked with the 20-year-old, and O'Rourke thinks he could be a really good piece of business for them.

What is the latest news involving Broja?

As per 90min, Southampton, West Ham and Everton are all keen on signing Broja this transfer window.

The Albanian, of course, spent last season out on loan at Southampton, where he made 38 appearances in all competitions for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side, so it is no surprise that he is wanted back at St Mary's.

According to the same 90min report, Leeds are also interested in Broja, who is expected to cost around £30m if he does depart Stamford Bridge.

The Yorkshire club were left light up front last term following Patrick Bamford's injury nightmare so could do with the arrival of a new No.9.

What has O'Rourke said about Broja to Leeds?

O'Rourke likes the idea of Broja moving to Elland Road, suggesting that the Chelsea man would score goals for Jesse Marsch's team.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "It would be a massive coup if they could get Broja considering the competition that's out there for his signature right now.

"You've got the likes of West Ham, Newcastle, Everton, Southampton all in for Broja, so I think if Leeds were able to pull a deal off for the Albanian, I think it'd be a really good piece of business by Leeds United. He's somebody who would provide goals for that team next season considering how well he did at Southampton."

Would Broja be a good signing for Leeds?

Given that Leeds are a bit light up front, Broja would be a great addition to their squad.

He showed a lot of promise last term, scoring nine goals for Southampton and, at his age, he is only going to get better.

The problem with Broja, though, is that there is obviously a lot of competition for his signature - half of the Premier League is practically interested in him. As well as that, there is no guarantee that Chelsea are even going to let him leave this summer.

Back in May, Thomas Tuchel insisted that he wanted to assess the Albania international in pre-season before making a decision on his future.

If Broja does end up at Elland Road, though, then it would be great business done by Leeds.
