Grand Prix headquarters and the peak of motorsports are Formula 1. F1 22 presents you the whole 2022 schedule, which features 22 different international circuits, but how can the duration of these races be altered?

To view all of F1 22's new features, you might wish to make races longer than they are by default. You may now experience pit stops and safety car periods in broadcast mode as well, something you won't witness if you play with incredibly brief races.

Although the recently launched F1 22 is a very challenging racing simulator, there are always options you can change to make it more user-friendly.

Although it's quite easy to do, it has a significant impact on your racing weekend. Everything you require is available right here.

How to change race lengths in F1 22

The same method may be used to adjust the length of your races whether you're playing in My Team or Grand Prix formats. Go to your Game Options, then click on Weekend Structure.

The session length is displayed at the bottom of this submenu. The length of the race you're about to put up may be changed by pressing left or right on here.

Please be aware that you are unable to modify your race duration preferences midway through an event weekend. You are unable to change this after it has begun.

You only need to press X to cycle through the alternatives after the Session Length option is chosen and you've found the one you want. The various race length choices available in F1 22 are shown below:

  • Short - 5 laps
  • Medium - 25% of standard race distance
  • Long - 50% of standard race distance
  • Full length of the real-world Grand Prix

You may view those percentages in the Grand Prix schedule at the bottom of the screen to see how many laps they correspond to. Between 12 and 18 laps will often make up 25% of the race, while 35 laps will make up 50%.

In F1 22, adjusting the race duration will change the settings for all following races. You must thus repeat the process yourself if you wish to return to your old configuration.
