Erik ten Hag was installed as manager in May.

He has been given the task of changing the culture at the club and restoring them to their former glories.

And it hasn't taken him long to make his mark. A report from the Mirror has detailed the strict rules he has already put in place.

Clamping down on dressing room leaks

Leaked information from inside the dressing room was a major problem last season. Ten Hag has told players they'll be exiled if they are found guilty of doing so.

Punishment for being late to training or team meetings

Ten Hag will drop players who are late to training or team meetings. Reputations count for nothing: He will punish players all the same.

Eat what is prepared by the club

The Dutch manager has banned personal chefs and wants players to eat what is expected for them by the club. He has overhauled the menu at their Carrington training complex, with fish and vegetables featuring more prominently than before.

Body mass index (BMI) checked monthly

Ten Hag wants to ensure players are in the best shape they can be at all times. Each United player has had a custom-made diet plan drawn up.

Don't complain to agents

Ten Hag wants the players to come to him if they have an issue and not their agent.

It's clear Ten Hag will not take any nonsense from his players whatsoever.

Whether his changes will have the changes desired remains to be seen.

Still, it's encouraging to see Ten Hag making his mark so early on. Drastic changes were needed behind-the-scenes at United and the 52-year-old is ensuring that happens.
