Tottenham could still look to sign another attacking player despite the arrival of Richarlison, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

The Brazil international recently became Antonio Conte's fourth signing of the summer and joins a highly competitive frontline in north London, but with Spurs back in the Champions League, Brown reckons the Italian might want another attacker at his disposal.

What's the latest news involving Tottenham?

It's been a productive start to the window for Conte, who's already seen four players through the door and is on the verge of adding another two to his squad.

Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma are the other three, while Clement Lenglet is set to be the next man to arrive, and Spurs remain locked in talks with Middlesbrough over Djed Spence.

But with Conte hoping for two players in each position, Tottenham continue to be linked with forwards despite Richarlison joining a frontline consisting of Lucas Moura, Dejan Kulusevski, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane.

What did Brown say about Tottenham?

When asked whether he thinks the links suggest that Conte is still hoping to bring in an extra attacker, he told GIVEMESPORT: "It's quite possible, or maybe someone who can play maybe a bit like Kulusevski as a third midfielder who likes to bomb forward.

"So, it does sound like they're looking for a runner from midfield or someone who can sub in minutes in that forward line."

Which attacking players have Tottenham been linked with?

Michael Bridge recently told GiveMeSport that Spurs are 'very keen' on signing Anthony Gordon, while Newcastle have also contacted Everton over the England Under-21 ace's services, but after already losing Richarlison, the Toffees aren't prepared to sell one of their biggest talents.

Therefore, Spurs might have to move onto other targets and are considering a move for free agent Jesse Lingard. Tottenham face stiff competition from Everton and West Ham but are able to sign the England international for nothing following his release from Manchester United.

Conte's side are also keen on Barcelona star Memphis Depay, whose potential departure could help the Spanish club ease some of their financial problems, with the 28-year-old available for just £17m.
