Tottenham are listening to offers for Tanguy Ndombele this summer, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

Ndombele spent last term on loan at Lyon and although he has since reported back to Hotspur Way for the start of pre-season, Brown doesn't think he has a future under Antonio Conte.

What's the latest news involving Ndombele?

Despite clearly not being part of Conte's plans moving forward, the France international was spotted back in Tottenham attire for the first time since January earlier this week at the club's training base.

Ndombele was amongst the first batch of Spurs players to return, but he isn't expected to travel to South Korea for the club's pre-season tour, according to Spurs insider John Wenham.

The 25-year-old has made 91 appearances since making the club record switch from Lyon three years ago, but he was booed off in the last of those, during an FA Cup tie against Morecambe, which all-but marked the end of his Tottenham career.

As a result, while Brown failed to completely rule the possibility of the £27m-rated midfielder getting a reprieve under Conte, he revealed that Spurs are willing to let him leave, providing they get a suitable offer.

What did Brown say about Ndombele?

Asked whether the Frenchman could another opportunity at Tottenham, he told GIVEMESPORT: "I think there's always a chance. Ultimately Conte probably played him more than a lot of people were expecting him to. But he clearly made his mind up that he wasn't really in his long-term plans and told him he can go.

"They're listening to offers, it's just whether they can get one that's remotely close worth taking, I think that's the big question for Spurs."

Has Ndombele played his final game for Tottenham?

Even before Ndombele re-signed for Lyon in January, he looked to have no future in north London, following his lack of trust by Conte, combined with the episode that occurred against Morecambe.

But since he last played for the club, Spurs have improved their midfield options with the additions of Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma.

And even if Ndombele and Conte came to a mutual agreement and put their differences aside, with four really solid midfielders at the club, plus Harry Winks, Ndombele would find opportunities hard to come by.

Therefore, assuming Tottenham receive an appropriate offer for his services, cutting ties is probably the best outcome for both parties.
