Gabriel Jesus stole the show in his Arsenal debut on Friday afternoon.

The Gunners signed Jesus in a £45m move from Manchester City earlier this summer.

He was named on the bench for his side's match against Nurnberg in Germany.

With Arsenal 2-0 down at half-time, Mikel Arteta sent on Jesus for his first outing in a red shirt.

And he was quite brilliant in the second half as Arsenal produced a remarkable comeback.

The Gunners won 5-3, with Jesus involved in four of the goals.

Jesus notched his first goal for the club just 84 seconds after coming on. He played a one-two with Eddie Nketiah and then fired the ball into the net from a tight angle.

Jesus notched his second in the 75th minute as he flicked the ball into the net from close range.

The 25-year-old also played his part in two Nurnberg own-goals, scored by Christopher Schindler and Tim Handwerker.

It's only pre-season but you can't blame Arsenal fans for getting carried away with Jesus.

One of Arsenal's biggest downfalls last season was that they didn't have a striker that guaranteed goals.

Nketiah only found form in the closing weeks of the season, while Alexandre Lacazette could only muster four goals in 30 Premier League games.

Despite not having an elite striker in their ranks, Arsenal came ever so close to finishing in the top four and booking their place in the Champions League.

In Jesus, they now have a player that can score the goals they need to return to Europe's premier cup competition.

Bacary Sagna is one former Arsenal player that is very excited to see what Jesus can do.

"I’m very excited. Arsenal Football Club means a lot to me, so when I see players like him join the club it makes me happy. I know him very well – I played with him at City – he has a fantastic mentality and is a fantastic person," Sagna told Lord Ping, per Metro.

"His arrival will benefit the club massively. His pedigree is fantastic. He is a regular starter in the Brazil national team, he played for one of the biggest clubs in the world. All of the Arsenal players will improve by playing with him and he can help them win because he knows what it takes to lift trophies.

"He is a brilliant signing because he has a winning mentality and is a champion. I can’t wait to see him in an Arsenal shirt this season."
