In a clip taken from a 2014 episode of Floyd Mayweather’s All Access show on Showtime, Jake Paul’s next opponent Hasim Rahman Jr features in a brutal day of sparring at Mayweather’s own gym in Las Vegas, and he doesn’t look too shabby either!

Following the collapse of the bout between YouTube sensation-turned-boxer Jake Paul and former Love Island contestant Tommy Fury, the former has announced that he will face Rahman Jr in replacement.

The name should be familiar to boxing fans, with him being the son of former world heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, who famously knocked out Lennox Lewis in 2001.

While the heavyweight’s son has not quite reached the heights of his father, the 31-year-old has an impressive record of 12 wins, with six knockouts, and just one defeat.

And as for anyone wanting to get a glimpse of Rahman Jr in action inside the ropes, he features in an incredible, brutal 31-minute ‘sparring session’ at Mayweather’s boxing club, taking part in a 'doghouse rules' session.

Rahman Jr attends Mayweather’s gym with his mother before finding out that his younger brother Sharif had suffered a brutal beatdown at the hands of Brit Donovan Cameron. Hasim then seeks revenge upon Donovan and demands that they box each other immediately, before engaging in a long and brutal sparring session that saw Rahman Jr celebrated as the convincing victor.

Rahman Jr has since gone on to actually act as Paul’s sparring partner in the past, however, the session boiled over into a heated confrontation between the two boxers, which Paul has since uploaded online.

Rahman Jr has claimed of the sparring session against Paul: “I took it easy on the kid,” and affirms that he is going to knock The Problem Child out when they meet on August 6 at Madison Square Garden.

The YouTuber’s sixth professional fight will be watched attentively by many, considering it is his first fight against an actual boxer, having only fought fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, NBA player Nate Robinson and MMA fighters in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley so far in his professional career.
