Paul Pogba's second spell at Manchester United came to an end earlier this summer when his contract expired.

The Frenchman departed United for free in 2012, only to re-sign for the club in a £100m move in 2016.

Despite being offered a contract extension, he decided against extending his stay and search for pastures new.

Pogba is on the verge of re-signing for Juventus on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old touched down in Turin on Friday afternoon to put to finalise his return to the Italian giants.

Pogba was met by adoring fans after arriving in Italy to sign his contract.

The midfielder was in high spirits and had no problem engaging with fans, signing shirts and taking pictures.

But Pogba didn't sign every shirt he was asked to, though.

A supporter with a United shirt asked Pogba to sign their shirt.

Pogba wasn't having any of it, though. He wagged his finger in disapproval and promptly refused.

Footage has surfaced of the moment and you can watch it below...

While Pogba showed flashes of brilliance in a red shirt, his inconsistent displays and attitude drew criticism from United supporters.

To say he left the club in bad terms would be an understatement.

It goes without saying that his refusal to sign the United shirt will only harm his reputation with the club's fans even further.

Pogba's Amazon documentary, titled 'Pogmentary', was released last month.

In the documentary, Pogba and his late agent, Mino Raiola, are seen scoffing at a £300,000-per-week contract offer from United.

After Pogba asks Raiola whether United had made a second offer in July 2021, Raiola replied, per the Guardian: “Yes. They absolutely want you to stay. For me, the offer doesn’t reflect that. I told them: ‘If you want him to stay, don’t make that offer.’ I will make them understand that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, this time they have to act differently and put the money on the table.”

Pogba says: “They’re bluffing. How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that.”

He later stated: “My thought process is to show Manchester that they made a mistake in waiting to give me a contract. And to show other clubs that Manchester had made a mistake in not offering me a contract.”
