Darwin Nunez arrives at Liverpool with a hefty weight on his shoulders.The 22-year-old arrived at Anfield this summer from Benfica for a club-record £85 million, replacing the departing Sadio Mane.Nunez scored 26 goals in 28 Primeira Liga matches last season and will be expected to hit the ground running at Liverpool.Liverpool supporters may get the first glance of the forward on Tuesday as they take on Manchester United in their first friendly of the summer in Bangkok.However, many fans will have been keeping a close eye on Nunez during his first few training sessions for Jurgen Klopp's side.But some of them aren't particularly impressed with what they've seen.A short video clip showing Nunez taking part in a finishing drill. It shows, on three occasions, him failing to hit the target in rather embarrassing circumstances. The video has been captioned "This the £100m player we paid for?"Check out the video below:

Now, we think it's pretty harsh. Someone has taken three isolated incidents in a long training session and tried to mock Nunez.

But such is the nature of social media, fans were quick to jump on the video and mock Nunez and his finishing.

But it's the opinion of Klopp that really matters. And the Liverpool boss has admitted he was hugely impressed with what he saw during the two Benfica matches in the Champions League last season - in which Nunez scored in both legs of the last-16 tie.

"It was massively impressive when he played in front of us," Klopp told Liverpool's website. "When you prepare Benfica, you know up to the size of shoes – we know absolutely everything about an opponent, so we know exactly about the quality of Darwin.

"It was not clear if he would play because he came back from internationals, in the first game that was. It was clear that he was really good. But when you see it then live, it was really impressive.

"The power and the mix-up with technique, the desire, smart moves, the problems he caused us. We fell all in love in these two games.

"A very aggressive South American, it’s a good thing! It was really a joy to watch him and so when we realised we had a good chance to sign him, we were all-in and we’re really happy he’s here now."
