Tottenham could sign a "luxury" player towards the end of the transfer window, claims journalist Dean Jones.

The north London club have already done some good business this summer, and it looks like they could finish things with a bang.

Who have Tottenham signed so far?

Antonio Conte has wasted no time in this transfer window, making five signings to improve both the quality and depth of his squad.

The Premier League outfit recently announced the arrival of Clement Lenglet, who joins fellow new additions Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic at Hotspur Way.

The left-footed Frenchman arrives on loan and will be expected to play on the left side of Conte's three-man defence, a position full-back Ben Davies occupied last season due to a lack of options.

With Lenglet and four other signings through the door before August, Conte has to be one of the more happier managers in the English top flight right now.

What has Jones said about Tottenham's transfer plans?

Jones does not think Tottenham's business is finished and has suggested that they could look to bring in a luxury player before the window closes.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the transfer insider said: "I've been told to look out for Tottenham signing a luxury player towards the back end of the window.

"They're getting their main business done now, but Tottenham always go into the window in that last 10 days, that last week, because they just love to be involved in that and see if they can get one more that boosts morale, and that's the sort of thing that might happen this summer as well."

Who could Tottenham's luxury signing be?

If Tottenham are to pick up a luxury player, it is hard to look past that individual being Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine is currently without a club after leaving Juventus and has been linked with Tottenham in the past.

In fact, last month, reports from Italy suggested that Spurs were lurking in the background ahead of potentially making a move for him.

On a free transfer, it would be an incredible bit of business, with Dybala scoring over 115 goals in his career.

It is unlikely, though, that a footballer of his quality will still be available at the end of the transfer window. So if he is the luxury player Conte has in mind, then the 52-year-old should make a move now.
