Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White is more likely to leave than stay at Molineux this summer, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The 21-year-old is back at his boyhood club following a productive loan spell at Sheffield United last season, but he's being linked away from the club.

What's the latest news involving Gibbs-White?

According to talkSPORT, a three-way race for the attacking midfielder has developed, with Everton joining Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest is pursuit of Gibbs-White.

But Everton have acted first, making a £25m bid for his services, although Wolves, who are looking in the region of £30m, knocked back the offer.

Gibbs-White, who scored in Wolves' pre-season friendly against Burnley on Saturday, has been offered a new deal with less than two years remaining on his current terms, but he is yet to commit his future to Bruno Lage's side.

And with a flurry of Premier League teams interested in his services, Crook reckons there's more chance of Gibbs-White leaving the club than staying beyond September's deadline.

What did Crook say about Gibbs-White?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "He's more likely to go [than stay]. He hasn't signed the contract that he's been offered, I think that's because he doesn't feel appreciated having been sent out on loan the last couple of seasons."

Should Wolves sell Gibbs-White?

It might come as a strange decision that Wolves are looking to potentially sell one of their most talented young players, especially off the back of an exceptional loan spell in the Championship.

But Gibbs-White has done nothing of note in the Premier League, scoring just once and laying on one assist in 46 top-flight appearances, which is a questionable return for an attacking player.

With that in mind, it's more logical that Wolves are willing to cash in on Gibbs-White, whose sale could allow Lage to strengthen in other pressing areas.

He might offer versatility having played in no less than six positions last season, but if Lage doesn't see him as part of his plans then £25m-£30m in return would be a good outcome.
