Ian Wright was a lethal finisher during his time in professional football.

He was a master at finding the back of the net.

The Englishman, who starred for multiple clubs including Arsenal and Crystal Palace during his professional career, scored 324 times at club level.

He also represented his country 33 times, hitting the back of the net on nine occasions.

Wright retired from the sport in 2000 and ventured into the world of punditry.

He has become one of the most popular pundits in English football due to his likeable character.

He loves to have a laugh with his colleagues and nearly always has a smile on his face.

Wright also isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers and does possess a savage side. And he showed that with a brutal answer to a question on live TV in 2017.

The Arsenal hero was partaking in a Q&A alongside former Premier League strikers Chris Sutton and Michael Owen on BT Sport.

The trio were asked: "Who had the best left foot: Wright, Sutton or Owen?”

Wright was quick to answer and didn't even give his colleagues a chance.

“Me. Don’t even ask them two – they can’t get near to where my left foot was,” he said.

Neither Sutton or Owen disagreed. Sutton even backed Wright's opinion. But that didn’t stop Wright ripping into the former.

“How many goals did you score with your left foot? How many? I don’t even remember doing it – I don’t even remember what foot I used I was so good.”

He added: “You can’t get into that party, bro. “No chance! Me, no problem.”

What an answer. That has to be one of the best responses to a question you'll ever hear. Poor Sutton. He got destroyed and there was nothing he could do about it.

While Owen stayed silent throughout and who can blame him?

Even if he thought otherwise, there was just no arguing with Wright.
