At St. Andrews' famed Old Course, The British Open 2022 Championship is scheduled to get underway on Thursday.

Scotland will be surrounded by the splendour of summer as The Open makes its first trip back there since 2015. The Open will be held at the Old Course for the 30th time this year, and the field is expected to be stacked with the majority of the world's top golfers.

Although Rory McIlroy comes as the favourite, everyone's attention will be on Collin Morikawa, the defending champion. The Northern Irishman has recently been playing some of the finest golf of his career, and he intends to top off an outstanding year with his first major victory since 2014.

Here is everything you need to know about viewing the Open this week, including the first two rounds' tee timings as well as the complete streaming and television schedules.

When is the British Open 2022?

This year’s British Open will take place from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July 2022.

Where to watch the 2022 British Open

The Open Championship will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports (Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Golf), which will also provide in-depth coverage of the driving range and featured groups and holes. Note that nightly highlights are also shown on BBC Two.

Tiger Woods is present for what could be his final chance to capture a third Claret Jug at St. Andrews after skipping the U.S. Open just to compete in The Open. After the English won the United States' national title in June, Matthew Fitzpatrick is attempting the uncommon U.S. Open-Open double.

Even while watching golf on one of the biggest venues in the sport at St. Andrews is a great pleasure, attending The Open Championship may be enjoyable and unforgettable, especially this year. This week, starting with Round 1, here on GiveMeSport, we'll do our best to provide you with coverage of The Open.

Here's how to watch The Open as much as you can between now and Sunday.
