Just imagine how much Paris Saint-Germain could charge for people just to watch Lionel Messi for a single training session.

If you think about all the miraculous things that Messi has pulled off in the heat of battle during incredibly tense games, then you can just imagine the extraterrestrial feats he's executed when there's no pressure or spectators.

Playing as a defender for Messi's club must make for a miserable existence in training because a completely liberated version of the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner with the handbrake off must be absolutely nightmarish to face.

Messi magic in training

You only have to listen to Thierry Henry's remarkable account of the carnage that Messi caused in Barcelona training during his prime, cutting up the entire team with mazy runs, to get the picture.

“In training, he wants to beat everybody," Henry once explained. "You know, the typical one, where he gets fouled. But they don’t call the foul on him.

"Next thing you know, he will go and ask the keeper to give him the ball, and run past everyone and score.

"He will take it from you, wherever you are, and score again. Until he gets a bit more relaxed. So then you end up losing the game. I've never seen that before."

Messi meets Ramazzotti in 2016

However, one of the most amazing things that Messi has ever pulled off in training - well, out of the clips that us, the public, have had the luxury of seeing at least - didn't actually involve any of his teammates.

Rather, it actually came when Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti visited Barcelona's training ground in 2016, messing around with Messi, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Luis Enrique after they had presumably finished their session.

And halfway through the cordial keepy-ups, the celebrity guest gestures for Messi to try and score into one of the match-size goals littered around the complex.

Messi's stunning trick shot

Sounds easy, right? Well, it would be if it wasn't for the fact that Messi and Ramazzotti weren't even on the correct pitch and were actually about 10 yards behind the goal as well as 20 yards to the left-hand side of it.

You can probably imagine where we're headed with this, but before you think it's just another case of 'footballer scores from behind the goal', recall that Messi was having to do this first time and on demand.

So, be sure to take in your umpteen-millionth reminder that Messi has a simply alien-like command of a football by seeing him rising to Ramazzotti's challenge down below:

No wonder Barcelona decided to title the video: "Leo Messi scores an impossible goal for Eros Ramazzotti."

He simply isn't human

You can just tell by the way that Busquets and Iniesta, legends of the modern game in their own right, smile in amazement as the ball found the far bottom corner just how impressive it was for Messi to pull it off.

Even the man himself looked to be a little embarrassed by how perfectly it all worked out, seemingly and jokingly gesturing for the cameras to cut before receiving a massive hug from Ramazzotti.

But perhaps the scariest thing of all is that we'd put down good money that Messi pulls off moments of equal brilliance day in, day out behind closer doors because, well, there truly isn't another footballer like him.
