Raphinha has officially completed his €67 million move from Leeds United to Barcelona.

After a prolonged saga which saw him heavily linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, the talented winger has earned his dream transfer and he's signed a five-year deal with the Blaugrana.

Raphinha's official presentation as a Barcelona player was on Friday, during which he said: "It's a dream come true since I was a kid, and of my family as well. I'm going to give my best."

Club president Joan Laporta also boldly stated in front of the cameras that "Joga Bonito is back".

Joga Bonito is Portuguese for the 'The Beautiful Game' and Raphinha is certainly a player who makes the sport very easy on the eye for viewers.

The former Sporting Lisbon flyer is electric with the ball at his feet and possesses a catalogue of flicks and tricks that's right up there with the likes of Neymar.

So it goes without saying that Raphinha's skill moves during his Barcelona presentation were pretty darn impressive.

Not bad, eh?

However, Raphinha's skills are still not a patch on those performed by the man who embodied the phrase Joga Bonito better than any other footballer in history - Ronaldinho.

In 2003 after arriving from Paris Saint-Germain, the smiling winger dropped an absolute masterclass on the Camp Nou pitch when he was officially unveiled as Barcelona's newest recruit.

To this day, no one has come close to matching Ronaldinho's magnificent display.

The most entertaining footballer we've ever had the privilege of watching doing what he does best, absolute magic.

Raphinha will almost certainly not be able to replicate what Ronaldinho achieved at Barcelona, as that's virtually impossible for any current footballer.

However, there's no getting away from the fact that Raphinha is a great bit of business by the Catalan club.

The Brazil international lit up English football during his time with Leeds. In 2021/22, he scored 11 goals in 35 Premier League games and was key to Jesse Marsch's side avoiding relegation to the Championship.

At Barcelona, with quality players around him, Raphinha can take his game to the next level and secure a permanent spot in the world-class bracket of active footballers.

Just don't go comparing him to Ronaldinho...
