N'Golo Kante is a tremendous footballer.

The Frenchman has won a plethora of trophies during his time as a professional.

He's won the World Cup with his country, while he's also won seven trophies at club level, including the Champions League and two Premier League titles.

He's also gained a reputation for being one of the nicest footballers in the planet.

And one of many examples emphasising that point came back in 2019 when he attended a Chelsea fan's wedding.

The Chelsea midfielder was invited to the wedding of Henna Khalid and Raheel Malik by the bride’s father, Frank Khalid.

He initially couldn't due to commitments with Chelsea and the French national team.

However, Kante picked up an injury and couldn't join up with the national side, allowing him to attend the wedding.

Khalid uploaded a number of videos of Kante at the wedding.

One video showed him mingling with guests...

Another showed him taking a picture with two youngsters...

Khalid also posted a video of Kante's reaction to a guest telling him to join Liverpool...

While another shows him congratulating the newly-wed couple.

Speaking of Kante, Khalid told the Sun: "We became friends when I was introduced to him by a friend and he came to my restaurant Chak89.

"I invited him and originally he couldn’t attend because of his commitment to the French national team, but because of his injury he messaged me saying he was coming.

"My family and myself are very close to N'Golo and he was one of the first people to visit me when I had my triple bypass surgery operation in April 2018.

"He stayed till the end and was so nice to everyone and signed autographs and took selfies with the guests.

"My daughter's name is Henna Khalid and her husband is Raheel Malik. He is an amazing person with a golden heart."

You just cannot hate Kante. The Frenchman is an incredible player, but he's an even better person.
