Ronaldo, Salah, Haaland, Van Dijk, Kane: FIFA 23 highest-rated PL players predicted

Ronaldo, Salah, Haaland, Van Dijk, Kane: FIFA 23 highest-rated PL players predicted

There are a lot of changes going on with the FIFA franchise at the moment, but the Premier League continues to boast a number of high ratings.

As well as some big new signings, most notably Erling Haaland, there are already some of the world’s best on offer.

Here are the predictions, as per Dexerto, for the Premier League’s big hitters for FIFA 23.

10. Trent Alexander-Arnold 87–>88

Starting first with Liverpool and it is hardly surprising that they feature regularly on this list. An academy graduate going on to become the best right-back in the world is remarkable and that is exactly what Trent Alexander-Arnold has done. His ability means that several strong players in that same position will struggle for regular minutes in an England shirt. Let’s not forget he is still just 23 too!

9. Erling Haaland 88–>89

Switching to the other title contender and Erling Haaland to Manchester City has to be the biggest move of this summer window. Injuries aside, the Norwegian forward was a true powerhouse in the black and yellow of Borussia Dortmund. Despite their continued success, there has been some talk that Pep Guardiola has been short of a recognised number nine. Haaland is surely that man, one of the hottest prospects in world football.

8. Cristiano Ronaldo 91–>89

From the future to the past and Cristiano Ronaldo is still flying the flag high. It remains to be seen whether he will remain in place in the red half of Manchester. The talk of a move may roll on, but at the moment, he is a Red Devil. Love him or loathe him, the numbers are there for all to see and it seems that he is still able to deliver in front of goal.

7. Virgil van Dijk 89–>90

The second of three defensive players under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp is Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman is the first name to enter the 90s and there is little argument against that given the impact he has had at Anfield.

6. Harry Kane 90–>90

Harry Kane is the first and only man on here to not have any improvement on his rating. The Englishman is no longer the top dog of Tottenham, according to these rankings, yet he is still the crème de la crème of strikers in the Premier League. If he can avoid injury, he will surely be in the Golden Boot race once again.

5. Mohamed Salah 89–>90

Mohamed Salah featuring down in fifth is somewhat of a surprise. Most fans will agree that the Egyptian is in the top two players that the league has to offer. Liverpool’s quadruple hopes ended up falling away, but Salah still had another sensational season. It will be fascinating to see what the arrival of Darwin Nunez does for the 30-year-old!

4. Alisson Becker 89–>90

Brazilian shot-stopper Alisson is the final Liverpool man on this list. From scoring THAT goal against West Brom to being the picture of consistency and composure at the back for Klopp. Alisson is in the conversation for the best in the world and rightly so – once again the Premier League boasts the very best talent that world football has to offer.

3. Ederson 89–>90

Alisson is seemingly inseparable from Ederson, the pair are at the fore of English football as well as battling for the starting spot with the Brazilian national team. He can be erratic occasionally, but that is a given when you see him at his best, spraying balls left, right and centre. There has been chatter that he could play in midfield and that he is the best penalty taker at Man City. Ederson truly is one of a kind.

2. Son Heung-min 89–>90

Finally with the 90-rated players and it is somewhat of a surprise. Son Heung-min is excellent there is no doubting that, but putting him on the same level as Salah is bold. As opposed to the South Korean star, maybe Salah should be higher rated because Son being level with his Spurs teammate Kane makes sense. His consistency in the division has gone under the radar, no matter how troubled the north Londoners have been, he has always delivered.

1. Kevin De Bruyne 90–>91

The top dog, the man to beat, the only 91-rated player, is Kevin De Bruyne. On the topic of consistency, the Belgian has long since been unplayable for Manchester City. He has himself dealt with some injuries, but the four-time Man City Player of the Year and two-time PL Player of the Year is still at the top of his game. He has been without an out-and-out number nine to form a lethal partnership with for a while now so Haaland’s arrival must be music to De Bruyne’s ears.
