What is the latest news involving Wan-Bissaka?

According to FootballTransfers, United want to sign a new right-back this summer but that can only happen if they manage to move on Wan-Bissaka.

Prior, there had been talk about Crystal Palace being interested in re-signing their former player on loan, but the Eagles are yet to make an approach.

Last season was not Wan-Bissaka's best in the Premier League. In total, the Englishman made just 20 appearances, losing his spot in United's starting XI after Ralf Rangnick's arrival.

With the Red Devils seemingly looking for a new right-back, his future at Old Trafford now appears to be in serious doubt, if it was not already.

What has Jones said about Wan-Bissaka and United?

Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Ten Hag has his doubts about Wan-Bissaka, who is currently thought to be on £83,000 a week.

Speaking to GMS, the transfer insider said: "He definitely has reservations about him. It makes sense that United might yet look for someone very good in his position.

"I think we've already seen with Ten Hag's style of management that he doesn't accept passengers. Wan-Bissaka is in danger of coming under that bracket, so I think it's a really big test for him the next couple of weeks."

Who could replace Wan-Bissaka at Old Trafford?

As per FootballTransfers, two right-backs who United are currently looking at are Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi and Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries.

Hakimi only joined PSG last year in an initial £51.3m deal, so signing him could be tricky. However, Dumfries, his replacement at Inter, is reportedly available this summer.

He is someone Ten Hag will know well, with the Netherlands international previously playing in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven.

While Inter seem open to selling Dumfries this transfer window, he was a player who excelled for them last season.

He made 33 appearances in Serie A and provided nine goal contributions, which is extremely impressive for a defender.

Ultimately, if Ten Hag is looking for an attacking right-back, then Dumfries could be the perfect addition to his squad.

It would likely mean the end of Wan-Bissaka's career at Old Trafford, but with a new manager arriving in the dugout, there was always going to be change at the club, especially after such a disastrous season.
