Thierry Henry and Sergio Aguero made a surprise visit to Barcelona's pre-season training camp.

The two legendary strikers, who're the leading foreign goal scorers in Premier League history, turned up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Barcelona released footage of Henry and Aguero engaging with the current players Stateside and it really was wonderful to see.

However, in one of the videos uploaded to the club's official social media channels, there was a slightly awkward interaction between Henry and Memphis Depay.

The French icon - who spent three trophy-laden years in Catalonia after signing from Arsenal - shook hands with virtually every member of the travelling party, Depay included.

But the Dutchman's moment with the bona fide footballing legend didn't last long at all.

After a fairly tame handshake, Henry quickly switched focus to Pedri and Depay looked a little lost.

Despite the fact it was a bit of an awkward situation from the camera's view, the former Manchester United forward didn't walk away and instead watched on admiringly as a smiling Henry said hello to Ansu Fati.

In the video below, the moment with Depay and Henry starts at 0:21...

Poor ol' Memphis. He clearly thought he was going have a little chinwag with 'Titi', but it just wasn't to be. Who knows, maybe they had a prolonged chat when the cameras weren't rolling.

Depay has been heavily linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer following a mixed debut season in 2021/22.

The 28-year-old only managed 13 goals from 37 appearances across all competitions, which isn't really good enough when you're playing as an attacker for Barcelona.

Following the additions of Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski to the forward line, as well as Fati's return to full fitness and Ousmane Demeble's contract extension, game time will be very hard to come by for Depay in 2022/23 if he remains with the Blaugrana.

According to Catalan publication Sport, Depay has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Antonio Conte's side are only willing to pay £17 million for his services, though, which is short of Barcelona's £20 million valuation of the player.

Depay only has one year remaining on his current deal and given that Spurs have already added the talented and versatile Richarlison to their forward line, there's no real need for them to pay above what they think the Dutch international is worth in the current market.
