Buckle up because what you’re about to see is a very wholesome clip between two of the greatest heavyweight boxers to ever grace the sport. The two legends in question are ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and ‘The People’s Champion’ Muhammad Ali, who appeared together on an episode of the Arsenio Hall show where they sat alongside ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard.Ali was 48-years-old and retired while Tyson was 23-years-old and in the thick of his world title run, but it did really make for fantastic viewing. When Hall asked both men who they thought would win had they ever stepped into the ring together during each other’s heyday.Ali answered first and said: “I was a dancer. I wasn’t that powerful but I was so fast.“If he hit me,” and Ali hysterically feigned a getting knocked out movement which brought laugher from the audience in attendance of the show. Tyson looked honoured to have received such praise from the best to ever do it but remained humble in response to Ali’s comments.

He stated: “In this situation, every head must bow, every tongue must confess, this man (Ali) is the greatest of all time.”

There were some other comments not seen in the clip above, where Tyson mentioned that Ali went into the ring with ‘killers’ such as George Foreman and Joe Frazier, was able to take their greatest punches and that’s what made him such a champion.

He even then went on to mention that Ali gave him a belief as a young man and helped mould him into the fighter that ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ became.

It will remain a dream fight for many boxing fans until the end of time, where you can imagine the speed and guile of Ali versus the power and poise of Tyson.

Who wins would be the biggest decision one would have to make.
