Wolverhampton Wanderers fans would be happy to see Adama Traore complete his Molineux departure for £10million, according to journalist Josh Holland.

Having seen the likes of Romain Saiss, Marcal and John Ruddy depart the West Midlands outfit, Traore could become the next star to seal his exit.

What's the latest news involving Traore?

Traore is back at Molineux after Barcelona opted against taking advantage of the £29million permanent option written into the deal which saw him spend the second half of last season on loan with the La Liga giants.

However, Wolves find themselves in a precarious situation as the Spaniard has entered the final 12 months of this £46,000-per-week contract.

That has resulted in the West Midlands outfit being willing to offload Traore for as little as £10million this summer as they do not want to see him leave as a free agent at the end of the upcoming season.

Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Leeds United have shown an interest, while Everton are also understood to be mulling over whether to head to the negotiating table.

Holland has previously told GIVEMESPORT that he believes Traore is itching to find a new club ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline.

What has Josh Holland said about Traore?

Holland reckons Wolves supporters will be open to waving goodbye to Traore if the club's eight-figure asking price is met.

The journalist thinks head coach Bruno Lage, who has been at the helm since his appointment last summer, has a big decision to make.

Holland told GIVEMESPORT: "£10million for someone like Traore - I think a lot of Wolves fans would take that as it's better than letting his contract run down and losing him on a free.

"He would have wanted his loan move to Barcelona to work, but it's obviously not, so Wolves have now got to cash-in or have a player who supposedly is unhappy at the club."

Would £10m be a good piece of business from Wolves' point of view?

Although it appears Traore has a number of admirers, a hamstring injury could hamper Wolves' hopes of securing a sizeable fee this summer.

The winger has flown to Barcelona to undergo scans on the problem, which he sustained prior to jetting off to Alicante for the club's pre-season camp.

But if Wolves can find a buyer who is willing to part with £10million, that would be shrewd, particularly considering Traore has less than a year to run on his contract and the 26-year-old has only racked up 29 goal contributions in 154 appearances.
