Gabriel Jesus has certainly enjoyed himself during Arsenal's 2022/23 pre-season campaign thus far.The £45 million signing from Manchester City bagged a brace in his first outing against FC Nuremberg, before finding the back of the net again in a comfortable 2-0 victory over Everton.And against Orlando City in the early hours of Thursday morning UK time, Jesus gave another good account of himself.The Brazil international was introduced by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta after the half-time interval and was heavily involved in proceedings from the get-go.Jesus didn't find the back of the net for the third game in succession, but was a constant threat as part of a strike partnership with Eddie Nketiah.Just a few minutes after entering the fray in Orlando, the 25-year-old proved what a significant upgrade he is on Alexandre Lacazette.Jesus created an opportunity for himself out of absolutely nothing, twisting and turning away from opposing defenders in close quarters, before seeing his shot from a tight angle saved by the goalkeeper.

How Arsenal could have done with a striker like Jesus in 2021/22. If they had got him last summer, Arteta's side would probably be playing Champions League football next season.
As we previously mentioned, Jesus wasn't able to get on the scoresheet, but he was heavily involved in Nketiah's goal in the 66th minute that put the Gunners 2-1 ahead.
The fleet-footed forward was found in the box by Martin Odegaard and a last-ditch tackle on him saw the ball eventually land at the feet of Nketiah, who finished sharply first time.

Arsenal's forward line in 2022/23 is going to look a whole lot better.
Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka is an attacking trident to be feared by all, while Nketiah is starting to really catch the eye too.
But the biggest pre-season test for the Gunners is now only a matter of days away. They face London rivals Chelsea on July 24th, where Oleksandr Zinchenko could feature for the first time - providing the club officially announce the transfer before the game.
Arsenal finish their warm up matches on July 30th, when they play Sevilla in the Emirates Cup final. After that, it's the 2022/23 Premier League season opener at Crystal Palace for Arteta's men.
