West Ham could make up to four signings in the next week or so if everything goes to plan, says Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The east London club have brought in Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes and Alphonse Areola so far and do not look to be finished there.

Who is West Ham's current primary target?

While West Ham are targeting multiple players right now, Chelsea's Armando Broja seems to be their priority.

Last month, Sky Sports claimed that the 20-year-old was their top striker target for the summer.

Since then, reports from outlets such as The Guardian have stated that the Hammers have made a £30m-plus bid for Broja.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, however, says he does not expect his forward to depart Stamford Bridge.

"I don't expect him to leave," the German recently said. "I'm aware of the offers and aware of the interest. We will make a decision together, the owner and me and the player. When he arrived it was clear he is trying to impress and become a Chelsea player."

What has Sheth said about West Ham's transfer plans?

Sheth has told GIVEMESPORT that, in an ideal world, West Ham would have deals for three or four players completed soon.

Speaking to GMS earlier this week, the Sky Sports reporter said: "The Jesse Lingard situation, that wasn't a priority position as such. You could call it almost a priority player.

"Potentially, if everything went as West Ham fans would want it, they could get three, maybe even four, signings over the line in the next week or so."

Who else do West Ham have on their radar?

As Sheth alluded to, David Moyes was targeting Lingard following his Manchester United exit. However, the England international has since gone on to join Nottingham Forest.

The Premier League outfit still have the chance to add Gianluca Scamacca to their squad, though. Sassuolo's chief executive Giovanni Carnevali recently confirmed that the Hammers had made a bid for the Italian forward. They face competition in the form of Paris Saint-Germain, however.

Staying in Ligue 1, PSG's league rivals Lille have a player of interest to Moyes, midfielder Amadou Onana, but getting him out of the Stade Pierre-Mauroy is proving difficult. Finally, reports claim that West Ham have also made a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.

When you look at all of the above, deals for the likes of Broja, Scamacca and Onana are far from simple. It does not seem to have put West Ham off, however, and if they can wrap up these transfers before the season starts, there will undoubtedly be a lot of optimism about the new campaign at the London Stadium.
