Madden 23: Players who received top ratings so far

Ratings for Madden 23 are rolling in this week, with EA Sports dropping positions one by one every day.

With more than 20 days until the gaming community can get their hands on Madden 23, we've already seen some impressive ratings.

So far, everything from running backs to edge rushers to those who made it to the illustrious 99 club has been revealed, giving fans a taste of who to play with and who not to play within the game.

When it comes to players, there is no doubt that a star player can make or break a game, especially in a game like Madden 23.

Here are all of the players who have ranked first in various positions in Madden 23 so far.

Top-ranked players in Madden 23

During its Madden 23 ratings week, Madden 23 has been in the spotlight with its release date of 19th August 2022.

According to EA, the following players have earned the number one spot in various positions. Let's jump right in.

Wide Receiver

EA Sports kicked off with wide receivers as the annual ratings reveal period began. Davante Adams is at the top of the list after recently being inducted into the Madden 99-Overall club.

Tight End

Travis Kelce is considered to be one of the best tight ends of all time. Throughout his career, Kelce has established several records with his club and the NFL. In terms of receiving touchdowns, he is the leading tight end, no wonder he received an overall rating of 98.

Running Back

According to Madden 23, which released its ratings for running backs on Tuesday 20th July, Derrick Henry is the league's best running back. Henry has an overall rating of 97.

However, Henry was not regarded as the fastest running back in Madden 23, as Raheem Mostert took the top spot.

Linebackers

Warner, the defensive anchor for the San Francisco 49ers, received the top spot in Madden 23 for this position. He received a rating of 94, which is quite good.

Safety

Tyrann Mathieu of the New Orleans Saints received a rating of 94 as a safety, one of the most important positions on the football field.

He finished first, one point ahead of Derwin James Jr. and two points ahead of Budda Baker.

Kickers

Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens took the top spot in this category, with an OVR rating of 90.

In the top three, he is joined by Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs 84 and Evan McPherson of the Cincinnati Bengals 83.
