Manchester United play their fourth game of their pre-season tour this Saturday against Aston Villa. Here's everything you need to know about the fixture.

Erik ten Hag has started life at the United helm in excellent fashion. Three wins out of three thus far during their tour, accumulating 11 goals on the way and defeating Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace. One player that has lit up their pre-season has been Anthony Martial. The returning forward has three goals in the three games he's played and looks a serious contender to be included in their starting lineup when the season eventually starts.

Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa side are also flying on their tour. They also have three wins, however, they were against Walsall, Leeds United and Brisbane Roar - so this is certainly the Villan's toughest test yet.

So with this, here's everything you need to know about the pre-season fixture between Manchester United and Aston Villa.

United were without Scott McTominay during a training session on Wednesday, with the Scotland international instead doing a recovery gym session, so his position in the side is in doubt.

Raphael Varane and James Garner also most likely won't be risked as they have small knocks.

As for Villa, Keinan Davis has been ruled thanks to a hamstring problem, while Jaden Philogene-Bidace and Kortney Hause are also still unavailable for selection.

Manchester United Predicted XI: De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred, Van de Beek, Fernandes; Rashford, Martial, Sancho

Aston Villa Predicted XI: Martinez; Cash, Carlos, Mings, Digne; McGinn, Kamara, Coutinho; Bailey, Watkins, Ings

This should be a great game with two sides clearly in great form, however, we think United will just edge it. They've been fantastic so far and can't see them slipping up against Gerrard's side. 2-1.
