UFC star Paddy Pimblett has revealed that he consumed nearly 11,000 calories after his last win against Rodrigo Vargas back in March.

Pimblett is known to fluctuate from his strict diet when he is not training for a fight and it was no different last time around.

But his 11,000-calorie day takes that to a new level and it includes an extraordinary amount of chocolate.

Following his victory over Vargas, he ate three chocolate bars, a chocolate cookie, a red velvet cookie, chocolate buttons and two doughnuts.

He also enjoyed a salt and pepper chicken wrap, bacon, a cheese slice, two portions of chips, halloumi fries, half a chicken and some wings.

Rice, garlic bread, some halloumi and finally hummus & a pita were also eaten during his massive food binge.

He washed that down with a cherry cola and a berry drink, which took his grand total of calories to around 10,670 plus some sauces which would take it up to about 11,000.

Speaking to BBC Sport about the food he likes, the 27-year-old said: “What don’t I like to eat?

“Pizza, pasta, Chinese, Thai food. I love burgers. I love a Nandos and salt and pepper chicken are my favourite scrans. I just love food.

“But chocolate’s one of my big ones. And desserts. I love desserts.”

Despite his excellent results in the UFC, some haven’t taken to the Liverpudlian’s diet, but he doesn’t take any notice of that.

“People have doubted me for years. At the minute, I’m not in the rankings, I’m fighting once every four months or something, so I can have a good blowout if I want.

“People fat shame me. It’s my life and I’ll do whatever I want.

“I’m gonna be UFC champion and I’m going to prove all these stereotypes wrong.”
