SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan has revealed who she would like to face in a potential WWE dream match.

Morgan is currently riding high after winning the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this month, and the cashing in to defeat Ronda Rousey on the same night to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

There are now a number of big names gunning for Liv and her championship, but the 28-year-old has revealed which WWE Hall of Famer she’d love to face given the opportunity.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show Morgan stated that she would love to go one-on-one with former WWE Women’s Champion Lita.

I feel like Lita, you know, um, she was kind of the first female wrestler that I feel like I resonated with she wrestled the boys, she wore baggy pants and I grew up with four older brothers that I, you know, wrestled with in my backyard.I considered myself such a tomboy, so here’s this woman that’s working the boys and wearing baggy pants and sneakers. I saw her and thought, you know, maybe she could be my friend. And that’s something that kind of, I hope to give my fans, but Lita I feel like we could have an amazing program.”

Lita competed in her first singles match in over a decade in February, when she returned to in-ring action to face Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber. And even though the 47-year-old was unsuccessful in defeating Lynch for the Raw Women’s title, she hasn’t ruled out further matches down the line.

Before Liv can live out any dream matchups, she must first defend her SmackDown Championship against former champion Ronda Rousey. The pair will clash later this month at SummerSlam, live from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
