Paddy Pimblett is some character, and at the official weigh-in on Friday ahead of UFC London this Saturday, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ did not disappoint in bringing the entertainment, pulling a classic schoolboy trick on opponent Jordan Leavitt.

At the conclusion of Pimblett and Leavitt’s ceremonial weigh-in before they face off at the O2 Arena today (Saturday 23), the Liverpudlian reached out for a handshake with his American opponent, to which Leavitt committed to, before Pimblett removed his hand and left him hanging.

As seen in the clip, Pimblett finds his trick extremely humorous and teasingly points at Leavitt, who in all fairness took the snub in good jest, also laughing as he left the stage for the final time.

The handshake snub is a typical Pimblett move, who has become a fan favourite due to his antics and he certainly played up to his loyal British crowd ahead of this UFC London event.

As well as the handshake snub which got the whole crowd laughing, Pimblett decided to send a message to those who doubted his ability to make the weight limit at the weigh-in in a rather unorthodox way.

Following his successful weigh-in at 156lbs, the proud Liverpudlian made another humorous statement, sending a message to those who doubted he'd be able to make weight in time.

“For everyone that tried to fat shame me and said I’d miss weight or f****** pull out, kiss my a**,” as he proceeded to actually slap part of his exposed rear.

Pimblett and Leavitt’s weigh-in ending in a comical handshake snub is typical of the two fighters, who have both been playful characters of the UFC. The crowd were absolutely lapping it up as well.

It's safe to say, whatever the result of the fight this evening, the audience will be treated to a unique celebration, with Leavitt claiming he will break out his signature twerk if he is victorious, meanwhile, Pimblett reacted by claiming that he will perform a ‘tea bag’ on Leavitt should he continue his winning UFC form.

The main card for UFC London, which also features Curtis Blaydes vs Tom Aspinall and Jack Hermansson vs Chris Curtis, will start at 7pm GMT at the O2 Arena in London.
