Curtis Blaydes got the win over Tom Aspinall in the main event of UFC London, but it didn't end the way he will have wanted it to go.

But the night arguably belonged to Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett who picked up wins over Hannah Goldy and Jordan Leavitt respectively.

It took a while for the fights to really start to catch fire but when they did it was all worth it and the crowd certainly seemed to enjoy themselves.

There were also wins for Marc Diakiese, Jai Herbert, Muhammad Mokaev and Nathaniel Wood.

Michael Bisping perhaps summed it up best: "That had all the makings of a heavyweight classic." It's a shame it ended in the way that it did. We wish you a speedy recovery, Tom.

Chris Curtis vs Jack Hermansson - Curtis def. Hermansson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

In the co-main event of the evening, Jack Hermansson used his in-cage experience to edge out Chris Curtis.

Jordan Leavitt vs Paddy Pimblett - Pimblett def. Leavitt via submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 2, 2:46

It just had to be, didn't it? Paddy the Baddy can do no wrong it seems. The hype train keeps on rolling.

Alexander Gustafsson vs Nikita Krylov - Krylov def. Gustafsson via KO (Punches) - Round 1, 1:07

Krylov came out swinging and that was that. Gustafsson didn't really look like he wanted to be there to be honest.

Molly McCann vs Hannah Goldy - McCann def. Goldy via TKO (Elbows)

SHE DID IT AGAIN!!! Meatball Molly is unstoppable!!!

Paul Craig vs Volkan Oezdemir - Oezdemir def. Craig via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Craig kept on trying to playing guard, but Oezdemir was having none of it.

Paddy Pimblett is back ladies and gentlemen

Mason Jones vs Ludovit Klein - Klein def. Jones via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Both fighters had their moments, but Klein got the better of it. Back to the drawing board for Jones.

Marc Diakiese vs Damir Hadzovic - Diakiese def. Hadzovic via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27)

Apparently Marc Diakiese is a wrestler now. Who would have thought that, eh?

Charles Rosa vs Nathaniel Wood - Wood def. Rosa via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27)

New weight class, no problem for Nathaniel Wood. His leg kicks in particular caused Charles Rosa a lot of problems on the feet.

Makwan Amirkhani vs Jonathan Pearce - Pearce def. Amirkhani via TKO (Punches) - Round 2, 4:10

The first finish of the night, and it was well worth the wait!

Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett will both be back in action on Saturday night

Charles Johnson vs Muhammad Mokaev - Mokaev def. Johnson via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Try as he might, Johnson just couldn't get Mokaev off of him. It really was one way traffic from start to finish. Incredible stuff.

Jai Herbert vs Kyle Nelson - Herbert def. Nelson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

A very close fight, but it felt like Herbert did most of the damage.

Mandy Bohm vs Victoria Leonardo - Leonardo def. Bohm via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

If we're being honest, it wasn't a great watch in all honesty.

Nicolas Dalby vs Claudio Silva - Dalby def. Silva via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27)

Silva managed to control most of the action on the ground in the first round, but it soon became clear that Dalby had a much better gas tank overall.
