Stop that, Zinchenko!

The 25-year-old really is a stellar piece of business by Arsenal, as he strengthens the team in two key departments.

No longer will they be reliant on the inconsistent Nuno Tavares if Kieran Tierney picks up an injury, while Zinchenko also excels when deployed as a central midfielder - which he's proven countless times on international duty.

Arsenal's business during the summer thus far really has been top notch and the introduction of the William Saliba to first-team matters is also a huge bonus.

The Frenchman started against Chelsea at centre-back alongside Gabriel Magalhaes and looked solid throughout.

Saliba, Gabriel and Ben White as options in the middle of the defence? Yeah that sounds pretty good to us.

A top four finish will be the minimum expected of Arsenal in 2022/23 and if they don't achieve that with their resources, serious questions will be asked of Arteta.
