West Ham United have 'surprised everyone' with how they have gone about their business during the transfer window and 'you cannot rule out' the possibility of more fresh faces heading to the London Stadium, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The Hammers are preparing for another season of European football after finishing seventh in the Premier League standings, leading to boss David Moyes looking to add depth to his squad.

Are West Ham close to making any more signings?

West Ham may have been left frustrated after Jesse Lingard opted to join Nottingham Forest instead of heading back to east London earlier this week, but that has not stopped Moyes in his tracks.

That is because the Hammers have agreed a fee of £30.5million, which could increase by a further £5million in add-ons, with Sassuolo for frontman Gianluca Scamacca.

The 23-year-old scored 16 goals for his current employers last season and, should he complete his move, Scamacca will provide Michail Antonio with competition.

West Ham have also lodged a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic, who has entered the final 12 months of his £43,000-per-week contract.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that talks are progressing well and the Hammers are now discussing personal terms with the 29-year-old Serbia international.

What has Dharmesh Sheth said about the situation?

Sheth would not be surprised to see West Ham add further reinforcements to Moyes' squad ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline.

The Sky Sports reporter feels there is plenty of time for the Hammers to continue heading to the negotiating table.

Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: "You can never rule it out because West Ham have surprised everyone, not least their fans, about how they've approached this transfer window and how quickly they're going about doing their business.

"Three signings are already in and there is potential for three or four more. We will still have the best part of five or six weeks left in the transfer window once all of that gets sorted.

"There is still time for West Ham United to do more business."

Who have West Ham signed so far?

Nayef Aguerd became West Ham's first summer arrival when he made the £30million switch from French side Rennes last month.

He was followed through the door by Alphonse Areola as the east Londoners took advantage of the £7.75million permanent option written into the initial loan agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Hammers' latest acquisition was central midfielder Flynn Downes, who completed a £12million move from Championship outfit Swansea City.
