Arsenal could get rid of up to 10 players before the transfer window closes, says Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

The north London club have strengthened their squad this summer by bringing in the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Taylor thinks their focus will now shift to outgoings.

How is Arsenal's transfer window going?

It has undoubtedly been a positive one. Following the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, up front became a problem area for Mikel Arteta, but Arsenal were able to quickly address that with the addition of Jesus.

The Brazilian arrived from Manchester City in a £45m deal and has been excellent for the Gunners during pre-season, recently scoring in the 4-0 win against London rivals Chelsea.

As well as Jesus, the Premier League outfit have also signed Zinchenko from City, while Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos and Matt Turner all joined prior to the Ukrainian's arrival.

And with the transfer window not closed yet, there is still plenty of time for Arteta to strengthen his squad further.

What has Taylor said about Arsenal's transfer plans?

While Arsenal technical director Edu has not ruled out more signings, Taylor thinks the emphasis right now will be on departures.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Daily Express journalist said: "At the moment, I think the focus has shifted to outgoings. I think I counted up to 10 players that are not guaranteed to stay - potential exits and loans.

"But I think to harvest some more cash, they're going to have to focus on offloading a few players, the likes of [Bernd] Leno, [Hector] Bellerin, [Lucas] Torreira, potentially even [Nicolas] Pepe if a suitable offer comes in."

Who could Arsenal sell this summer?

As Taylor mentioned, the likes of Leno and Bellerin are likely to be moved on before the window slams shut, with the former closing in on a move to Fulham and the latter not a part of Arteta's first-team plans after spending last season out on loan.

On top of the above names, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is another player who could depart the Emirates.

The 24-year-old spent the second half of the 2021/22 campaign at AS Roma and was linked with a move to newly-promoted Nottingham Forest last month.

With all of that in mind, there should be a lot of transfer activity in north London in the coming weeks as Arteta continues to reshape his Arsenal squad.
