KSI's former coach Viddal Riley has stated he would be open to fighting Jake Paul should the latter get past Hasim Rahman Jr first.

The YouTube stars have both embarked on professional fighting careers over the past few years, with KSI 1-0, and Paul 2-0, respectively.

Paul recently announced that he will returning to the boxing ring to take on Rahman Jr on August 6 at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden.

Now Riley, 25, has claimed should Paul pass his next test with flying colours, he will have no choice but to consider him as a future rival.

The Hackney star told his YouTube channel: "It's only right that with Jake taking on Hasim Rahman Jr as an opponent that we give him his respect because honestly it's an opponent that could be mine."

He continued: "For Jake to be in there with an opponent that could be mine, there's only really two outcomes; win or lose.

""There could be a draw, but I highly doubt it. If Jake beats Hasim Rahman Jr then the possibility of him being an opponent for me, of course, increases ten-fold.

"That's only logical sense, I can't sit here and say 'you know what, he's still not on my level,' because that's a bit arrogant and doesn't make logical sense.

"I'm quite a logical person, so whether his name is Jake Paul and he has however million followers and started off as a fairy or a clown in the circus, once you fight someone who I could be in the ring with then I have to consider you as someone who could be a potential opponent."

Last month we revealed KSI's live reaction to Riley's stunning highlight-reel knockout over Jone Volau, 39. It was Riley's sixth professional bout.

Like many others, Riley wants to see KSI take on Paul first, but has not ruled out one day fighting the former Disney star.

Speaking about the prospect of potentially having to face Paul for the first time, Riley said: "I don't want to go into the realm of fighting Jake.

"Now that he's in this space, it's a fight that could happen, and if it's a fight that's offered it won't be a fight that I decline because at the end of the day, I'm a scrapper.

"I think JJ vs Jake is still the biggest fight in YouTube boxing history, and I don't think that will change.

"I don't want the paths to get crossed, or for him to say 'yeah, I'll fight Viddal before I fight JJ,' or anything like that, I want that fight to be in its own realm."
