Triple H has been announced as the man who will be leading the creative department at the WWE, following Vince McMahon’s retirement.

It is being reported that prior to yesterday’s episode of Raw, the former wrestler held a meeting with all of the WWE talent.

A report by Fightful suggested the meeting “went really well” and there is “a lot of optimism surrounding the change in creative.”

Triple H is the founder of NXT, which is a WWE brand that helps to find emerging talent and wrestling’s next star.

He has been widely praised for his work with the brand and a number of WWE’s current roster worked close to him through NXT.

Triple H’s wife Stephanie McMahon has been appointed as co-CEO, along with Nick Khan in the board re-shuffle.

A goal set out is to maintain a better line of communication between the wrestlers and those in the new positions of power.

The report adds that the 52-year-old wants “work to be fun” and he is going to try and create an environment where that becomes possible.

The meeting was thought to have been a positive start to the new era of the company.

WWE announced Triple H’s (real name Paul Levesque) new position on Monday with a press release to signify the start of the new beginning.

It said: “WWE executive Paul Levesque will assume all responsibilities related to the WWE’s creative, an addition to his regular duties."

Triple H responded to the news by putting out his own statement reacting to his new position.

He said: “I look forward to returning to my prior position as head of Talent Relations. I’m healthy, fired up, and ready to take charge.”

The 52-year-old is a 14-time world champion and is one of the biggest names to come out of the WWE.
