Title Update 16 is here in FIFA 22. Here’s everything we know about it.

FIFA 22 has been out for a total of eight months now and we’ve seen many changes happen along the way. Patches are necessary for a new game such as FIFA as although the product is finished, it’s very common to find teething issues with games along the way.

So far we’ve had 15 title updates in FIFA 22’s lifespan, with the latest just having come out adding some great new features into the game, which is surprising at this late stage – but great to see that EA are still prioritising making the game as good as possible.

Title Update 15 was a very small update - which included only one change to the game. This was as follows:

General, Audio, and Visual
Addressed the following issue:

  • Addressed some instances of a Tifo not appearing correctly in-game.

Just a minor change for Title Update 15.

But now we have Title Update 16 and what this holds for FIFA players. So, with this - here are the patch notes and everything we know about Title Update 16 in FIFA 22.

Title Update 16 Patch Notes

Here are the official Patch Notes taken from the EA forums.

The latest Title Update is now available for the PC (Origin/Steam) version of FIFA 22, and it will include the following change.

General, Audio, and Visual

Made the following change:

  • Updated some kits, and UI elements.

So just a small update in this one - but at this late stage of the game, this is expected.

What did we expect from Title Update 16?

Nothing has been speculated yet in regards to the new title update, with Title Update 15 having just been released - however, we can certainly make some assumptions based on the previous release.

Title Update 15 involved a singular minor change which addressed an instance when a Tifo would not appear correctly in-game. This is probably due to the game being in its latter stages, which means not many major updates are needed and instead its minor tweaks and alterations.

Expect the same from Title Update 16 - where EA will most likely address some more general, audio and visual issues that need to be changed.

With FIFA 23 just around the corner, they will no doubt be focusing a lot on that - however, it is nice to see EA still putting time and effort into their existing game with these title updates.
